Modern - Classic S/Y Atao 82’

Naval design of the deck superstructures, interiors design for details, and project management of the building in JFA Yachts ship-yard.

From a classical inspiration, the ship revisits by its architecture and its design the charm of raked hulls.

The interiors are organized around the dog-house with a deck saloon / panoramic dining and a navigation place above the engine room. This distribution provides a direct private access to the owner cabin on the aft, and on starboard to a sailing cabin for 2 persons. On the front take place a wide lounge for the dining, the living room and the kitchen with its cold storages. Two double guest cabins covered by skylights, their bathroom and crew cabin extend the layout towards the bow.

Built in aluminum the ship is dressed with a mast and a carbon boom, Vectran sails and hydraulic stainless steel winches. A central dagger-board crosses the keel and its bulb, giving a draught from 2.60 m to 4.00 m.

If the interiors are a beautiful marriage of French cherry and clear lacquered paneling, the deck is covered by Birman teak and receives varnished mahogany superstructures. The S/Y ATAO is a masterpiece of cabinet-making and metal-working that does not mask her propensity in nice surfs.
