    Order for a 76.6 m Explorer motor vessel in Concarneau - France

    Piriou Shipyards announced a historic new order for a large explorer motor vessel. The 76.6m motor vessel will be built in Concarneau, Brittany, by its French division.

    Created by Pierre Jacques Kubis Naval Designs in collaboration with the in-house Engineering team, the motor vessel has been designed for world cruising in extreme conditions (-20°C/+50°C), with an ice-classed steel hull.

    The yacht will have a diesel-electric propulsion system giving a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 11 knots and an impressive range of 12,000 nautical miles.

    Her layout will accommodate 18 passengers in a high standard of comfort, in addition to the 18 crew members.

    The yacht is scheduled for a launch in may 2015.

    Superstructures & deck design for a range of wind-farm service vessels

    Developed by the designer Pierre J. Kubis Designs for the Research & Sales departments of Piriou shipyard this collaboration provide a new range of wind-farm service vessels composed of 2 powered Catamarans of 20 and 25 m LOA and 2 powered Monohulls of 20 and 25 m LOA. These service vessels will integrate innovatives design solutions like a totally glazed & panoramic wheelhouse .

    Design of 80 m Purse Thuna Senners external identity for Piriou shipyard

    Developed by the research departments of Piriou shipyard in collaboration with the designer Pierre J. Kubis Designs, the projected new units of 79.5 m long and 14.2 meters wide, will integrate innovatives design solutions.
